When you kill a girl; you kill many others!      Be the change you wish to see in the world!      People love to have a MOTHER, a SISTER and of course a WIFE, then why not a DAUGHTER?      From woman, man is born. Within her, he is conceived. From woman, woman is born. Without her, there would be no life at all.      Educate a boy and you educate an individual. Educate a girl and you educate a community.     

#BeWithBeti Fashion Show - February 2016

Beti celebrated its 10th anniversary with a charity fashion showto raise funds to rehabilitate young victims of sexual abuse. The show was supportedby fashion brand Vivaha and was held at JW Marriot JuhuMumbai.

Over 100 guests from the TV & film industry walked the ramp insupport of the cause. Ms Amruta Fadnavis, wife of CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis wasthe Special Guest on the occasion. 

Ms Amruta Fadnavis said “This is a wonderful cause & I wish youwell in your endeavours. This is a global cause & not restricted to India.In Sanskrit a daughter is called ‘duhita’ – which means someone who can takecare of both her family & her husband’s family. So women must be encouragedto fulfill their dreams & break new boundaries. Unfortunately in Indiastill close to 10 million girl children arekilled in the womb and only 30 % of girls are able to study further thanprimary education. We need to change these in the coming years, since its moreof a mindset problem which needs to be fixed”
